Summit Realty South West has been a valued sponsor of the Cancer Council Relay For Life Bunbury-Southwest event since 2004. Relay For Life is a team fundraising event which Celebrates the lives of cancer survivors, Remembers those we have lost to cancer and inspires participants to Fight Back against cancer.
Relay For Life Bunbury-Southwest is the Cancer Council largest regional Relay event and since 2003 the 441 participating teams have raised $1,236,223.
Summit Realty’s contribution through sponsorship of $30,000 has been vital to the Volunteer Organising Committee achieving its target of 10% expenditure, ensuring the funds raised go directly to Cancer Council research grants, support services and prevention programs.
The Summit All Stars Team during their 7 years of participation has raised $224,667 making them the highest West Australian Relay fundraising team The Management and Staff of Summit Realty South West display passion and dedicated intent to fight back against cancer which impacts so dramatically on our lives and of those we love. We are grateful to Greg Gardiner and his team and look forward to continuing this valued partnership.
It is hoped others will be inspired by Summit Realty South West to take up the baton to become a sponsor, register a team or volunteer at the 2010 Relay to be held 6 – 7 November at Hands Memorial Oval.
